We also are Conservation Architects, accredited in RIAI Conservation Grade 3. We relish working on Protected Structure (ROI) or Listed Buildings (NI & UK). To date we have undertaken many full house extensions and refurbishments.
Preserving unique elements of the past, we create a new language using innovative architecture and inspired interior design. We sensitively consider the historic fabric of the building, whilst ensuring modern comfort. McNulty Smyth Associates often collaborate with renowned interior designers from early stages in larger projects.
We have extensive experience of projects where the full upgrade the fabric of the old building is undertaken, with appropriate insulation incorporated, waterproofing, lime rendering or pointing, right through to accommodating modern services.
